1. Data collected through the availability request form

The form on the "Book" page asks for name, email, phone, stay dates, number of guests and any special requests. This data is not collected or stored by the website: the form simply pre-fills a message that you send yourself, through your own WhatsApp app or email client. The Data Controller therefore only receives this data if and when you decide to send the message, following the normal process of a WhatsApp conversation or an email.

Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the data subject's request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Retention: messages received are kept as part of the Data Controller's normal correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request; if a booking is confirmed, some data (name, ID document, stay dates) is also retained to comply with legal obligations (e.g. the Alloggiati Web report to the Sondrio police headquarters) and for tax purposes, for up to 10 years.

2. Browsing data and hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc.). Like any web infrastructure, the hosting provider automatically collects some technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time) for security and service-operation purposes. The Data Controller has no direct access to this data, which is processed by Cloudflare as data processor — Cloudflare's privacy policy.

3. Embedded map (Google Maps)

The "Location" page includes an embedded Google Maps map. When that page loads, Google may collect some data (including your IP address) under its own policy — Google's privacy policy. The Data Controller has no access to this data.

4. Cookies

This site currently does not install profiling cookies or its own analytics tools. The only third-party service that may set cookies is the Google Maps embed described in point 3. If analytics tools are added in the future (e.g. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free, or others), this notice will be updated accordingly.

5. Data recipients

• WhatsApp / Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd — if you choose to contact us via WhatsApp
• Mailbox.org (Germany) — the Data Controller's email provider, if you choose to write via email
• Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting service provider
• Sondrio Police Headquarters (Questura) — for the mandatory Alloggiati Web report concerning guests actually staying at the property

6. Transfers outside the EU

Some of the providers listed above (Meta, Cloudflare) may transfer data to countries outside the EU, based on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other adequate safeguards under Articles 44–49 GDPR.

7. Your rights

Under Articles 15–22 GDPR, you have the right to request at any time: access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing. You can exercise these rights by writing to info@ironwoodlivigno.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante Privacy) if you believe the processing breaches applicable law.
